1. Construction works and activities - list

It is necessary to decide which works can be considered construction, because this affects what documents you need.

Construction activity (construction) - activities for the construction, reconstruction, repair, restoration, improvement of an object, demolition, conservation of an unfinished object, including the implementation of organizational and technical measures, including the provision of engineering services in construction, preparation of permits and design documentation, construction, installation, commissioning.

This definition is normatively fixed in the legislation. But the ideal situation would be to have a table at hand in which a list of works that are construction would be given.

Fortunately, the list of works (and services) related to construction activities was approved by Resolution No. 17 of the Ministry of Architecture and Construction of the Republic of Belarus dated May 10, 2011.

2. Execution of individual entrepreneurs of construction and repair works on orders of individuals

The execution of finishing works is currently very popular among the population. This issue is relevant both for citizens who have just purchased housing and plan to carry out repairs in it, and for people who have decided to update the existing repairs in their housing.

It is worth remembering that the performance of finishing works relate to construction activities. When performing finishing works, a construction contract is concluded between the customer and the contractor.

3. Execution of IP construction and repair works on orders of legal entities and sole proprietors

As a general rule, the following documents may be required to carry out construction activities:

If the sole proprietor plans to perform repair and finishing works for legal entities, as part of ongoing repairs and major repairs or at facilities of the fifth class of complexity, then these documents do not need to be received.

Construction contract for sole proprietor

The contract is suitable for repair and finishing works, the customer can be legal entities, individual entrepreneurs and individuals. Contractors can only be individual entrepreneurs and legal entities.
